Dermatology Photohub
The dermatology photohub service streamlines the dermatology two week wait cancer referral pathway and is run by Health Care Assistants. The HCA will take photos of the lesion(s) on the day of the appointment.
About The Service
Virtual triage by the dermatologists will be based on the dermatoscopic images, AI analysis and the completed patient questionnaire together with the TWR referral submitted by the GP.
Available to all patients registered with practices in NWS with suspicious lesions, with the exception of lesions which are ulcerated, weeping and/or dressed.
Your GP will refer you to the service if you meet the criteria. Please note that lesions which are ulcerated, weeping and/or dressed are not suitable for this service. We won't be able to photograph multiple lesions. Please speak to your GP if you are concerned about other lesions in different parts of your body.
